Lice Check

Today Meadow was brushing my hair and giving me a "massage".  When all of a sudden she was gone.  When she came back she had 2 toothpicks in her hands and she was passing the toothpicks in my hair.  "What are you doing?" I asked.  "Just checking your hair for some bugs and wood ticks."

When I grow up...

Meadow has been talking a lot about what everybody does to "help people".  Like I teach kids, John makes books, Jan babysits kids, Rox makes billboards, etc.  as well as what she wants to be when she grows up.  At first she wanted to work at Boston Pizza, because that is her favorite restaurant.  Then she asked what Carla did to help people and I told her she made medicine for people that were sick.  "Oh that's what I want to do when I'm big!" she says.  Then she saw Barbie's Fashion Fairytale and decided she wanted to be a fashion designer. Lately we have been spending a lot of time a the dealership called Rhineland Car because we just bought a new truck.  The other day Meadow says "dad when I grow up I don't want to be a pharmacist, I want to work at "Random Car" where I sell cars and work with Madame Dick!

Tooth Fairy

Meadow 3AM - MOM! The tooth fairy came already and I didn't even see her! She left me some gum and money and FAIRY DUST!!!

Beaver

The other day at the Melanie's house, Devan was sick with a fever.  The next day she stayed home and Meadow said, "Mom today Devan wasn't at Melanie's, she was sick and she had a fever." Rex chimes in, "Yeah, she had a "beaver"... in her belly."

Few Good Meadow Stories

Meadow and my mom were enjoying some time together before the dude woke up. Meadow asks my mom, "Why do you still have a big stomach?" My mom replies, "That's because of your mom and matante Rox and matante Jan." Meadow answers, "That's ok, my dad has a bigger belly then you." "Is it a beer belly?" My mom asks. "No it's from all those casseroles!" Meadow retorts.

I was downstairs and Meadow was upstairs, I call her down and she immediately turns to John and says, "Oh no, what is she gonna say I did now" "Why do you say that?" John asks, chuckling. "Just because I'm always in trouble for doing something!"

 

Meadow found an escapee baby toy from the MCC bag.

Meadow (to my mom): "oh oh this has to go to the MCC bag." 

My mom: "But what if your mom has an0ther baby?"

Meadow: "Oh no! She's got a patch for that!"
