Two Wheeler!!!!

Last week Meadow went with John to try riding her bike without training wheels.  They went to the track and she did ok.  A couple of days later she road on our yard every once and a while.  She insisted on riding only on the grass and she wasn't really happy about doing it, ei - having fits.  Yesterday we went to the track again to give it another go.  She got on her bike and before John or I could help her onto her bike, she got on and started riding.  She did 4 loops on the track and today she biked to Melanie's like a pro! This is how things are going to be with this one! She does it when SHE decides!

Growing up
Max: Rex what are you going to be when you grow up? Rex: A wrestler!
Max: Are you going to wrestle dad? Rex: No mom I'm only going to wrestle bad guys!


Bulldog Wrestler
I put a new shirt on Rex with a bulldog on it that said Bulldog Athletics. He goes downstairs and about 3 minutes later Meadow comes upstairs and says, "Does it say he's a bulldog wrestler on Rex's shirt?"  I reply, "No, Why?" "Well he says it is!"  I tell him, "Rex that says Bulldog Athletics"  which he responds with, " No it says I'm a bulldog wrestler see?"


God, Squirrels and Thunder
There was a huge storm and Meadow was freaking out. John had tried to have a talk with her and told her that the rumbling of the thunder was just the Angels bowling in Heaven.  Well she apparently didn't buy it because she was still upset a little while later when the thunder was still going strong.  So Rex tells her, as if this would be super reassuring, Don't worry Meadow, that's just God shooting squirrels in Heaven! WHAT???

Lice Check

Today Meadow was brushing my hair and giving me a "massage".  When all of a sudden she was gone.  When she came back she had 2 toothpicks in her hands and she was passing the toothpicks in my hair.  "What are you doing?" I asked.  "Just checking your hair for some bugs and wood ticks."
